Are you tired of playing the same old songs on your playlist? And are you down to add some new music to the mix? Well, we’ve got your back! We keep a close eye on the most exciting new releases and choose our favorites every week that know how to inspire us. In our weekly selection of the best songs, we unveil upcoming superstars and major bops, so grab your headphones and follow our brand-new Spotify playlist.

1. Dua Lipa — Dance The Night

Are you as impatiently waiting for the new Barbie movie as we are? Dua Lipa’s new single means the countdown is on. Sporting a similar flair as on her album Future Nostalgia, the Albanian-English singer makes sure to keep our disco-pop fantasy alive. Dua Lipa is the pop girl of the moment and seems to have no weaknesses, just like a Barbie doll.

2. Olivia Dean — Carmen

We are still recovering from the second edition of CORE, where British singer Olivia Dean also made an appearance and got us in the right mindset with her set. The new single “Carmen” was also in the setlist and, despite its laidback ambiance, provided a lot of movement. Olivia Dean knows how to create an incredible atmosphere with a whole arsenal of instruments, which makes her music so enchantingly beautiful.

3. Jake Atlass — Bad Boys Go To Heaven

Jake Atlass puts himself at the wheel on his debut single, “Bad Boys Go To Heaven”, beginning his lap of honor with ripping tires. Dark and mystical synths become a bit more badass thanks to screeching guitars, which fit the song’s message perfectly. The Belgian artist embraces his naughty side and manages to put the right accents on Anders’ rock-solid production. He sounds menacing, seductive, and sweet, showing that he’s an artist to keep an eye on

4. young hoffi — a drug to do

We discovered Munich-based producer and DJ young hoffi earlier this year with his single “NOW”, which introduced us to his electronic ambiance full of samples and soaring melodies. “a drug to do” is the follow-up and builds on a sound clip of Mac Miller, giving the song an emotional charge despite its limited lyrics. It gives the beats a melancholic edge. “a drug to do” is a strong single from this rising German artist.

5. Jungle — Dominoes

Few musical projects spread as many feel-good and summery vibes as the British band Jungle, who seem to have a partnership with the sun in every song. “Dominoes” is another hit thanks to its funky grooves, the cool guitar line that accompanies the song, and the signature Jungle flair. We fall like a domino for “Dominoes,” what else is new?

6. Mariposa — Mentiras

Thanks to Rosalía, GALE, and Nathy Peluso, we discovered a new sweet spot for Spanish-language music, which Colombian-Italian Mariposa capitalized on with “Mentiras.” Despite the song being more about a negative experience in her life, she manages to put a positive spin on it by releasing her strongest song to date. Her mix between rap and vocals with the futuristic production would make even Rosalía jealous.

7. Harry Bodley-Scott — Bad Dancing

Losing yourself on the dance floor without dwelling on what others think about you and just being 100% yourself while moving to the music is a priceless feeling, and Harry Bodley-Scott dedicated an irresistible song to it. The indie pop track is alive with catchy vocal lines, and the uptempo instrumentation has turned into a real dance floor magnet. The liberating feeling the English artist sings about in the song also gets translated into his own music.

8. Groove Armada — Easy (Confidence Man Remix)

Groove Armada are true legends who made the disco balls spin a little firmer in the 1990s with their energetic music, and thanks to Australian duo Confidence Man, their single “Easy” is now getting a second life. Indeed, the positive energy splashes off of it and gives this feel-good bop an even more ravishing feel. Anyone who is not in a good mood because of this, we don’t understand you.

9. Mosley Jr — Lonestar Retreat

We spent this weekend at the CORE festival, which also celebrated the launch of the new CORE Records. The American Mosley Jr is the second artist to find shelter for his music at the new label, and “Lonestar Retreat” sums up the atmosphere of the festival perfectly. There is a coolness, elegance, and above all, an incredibly good vibe to this song. If we close our eyes and listen to Mosley Jr, we immediately have good flashbacks to last weekend.

10. VTSS — Make You Scream (Isabella Lovestory & Kamixlo Remix)

Polish VTSS is known for her DJ sets, which she uses to bring everyone into her world in no time and bend any venue to her will. For the remix of “Make Me Scream”, she enlisted the help of rising whirlwind Isabella Lovestory and Chilean Kamixlo, who bring their Latine temperament to the track, giving it a new twist. In doing so, they mainly look for power in the thumping beats and completely overwhelm us with this intense track.
