Those who’ve followed the past fashion weeks are aware that we’re evolving towards a more tailored way of dressing. Streetwear certainly isn’t dead, it’s just less alive than it used to be. Also when it comes to footwear, sneakers are getting competition. That iconic boat and deck shoe brand, Sebago, is gaining popularity proves that we’re ready for a breath of fresh air.
A Cross-Pollination Between Heritage and Cult
Antwerp-based store Vier has grown the past 10 years from a skate shop into a destination for fans of both exclusive streetwear, niche skatewear, and high-end designs. It’s Raf Simonis’ favorite in Antwerp and Kendrick Lamar also wore a Vier x Uber and Kosher hoodie in his “King’s Dead” video.
After collabs with Mini (Madrid) and 10 Corso Como (Milan), the cross-pollination between Sebago and Vier was a logical step since the Antwerp-based store quickly picked up on the revival of the brand. Two of the label’s iconic designs: the Cityslides and Campsides got revamped with a cheetah and zebra pattern. Anyone who’s ever set a foot in Vier will make the link with the store’s animal printed walls.
The limited-edition capsule collection will be sold exclusively at Vier and vierantwerp’ s webstore starting from the 23rd of January.
